Good news everyone! Retrospectiva (finally) moved to a new (proper) server.

After many performance problems I decided to switch my hosting provider. The first impression is really, really good. The response times are much better and I hope to be able demonstrate how well Retrospectiva actually performs.

I also switched my setup from ningx/mongrel to apache/passenger, a step I would like to recommend to everyone else. I am not sure about the performance, the differences seem to be marginal, but the memory allocation is simply superb.

Today I spent some time writing a detailed recipe for extending views in Retrospectiva. It is based on the recently added project_drop_down extension and it shows how easy it is to customise your Retrospectiva installation without changing the core-code.
